PURPOSE: To generate a damped oscillation wave with a simple circuit without power amplifiers by charging and discharging of an LC series resonance circuit.
CONSTITUTION: When switch 5 is turned off, capacitor 3 is charged. Next, when switch 5 is turned on, charged electric charge of capacitor 3 is discharged to load 7 through inductance 4. At this time, the discharging current is the alternating current of the frequency determined by capacitor 3, inductance 4, and load 7 and is flowed with damping oscillation determined by load 7. The current generated as the result is generated as a voltage at both ends of the load, and a damped oscillation wave voltage appears at both ends of the boad. By repeating turning-on and -off of switch 5, an intermittent damping oscillation wave is obtained. Variable resistance 6 is provided for adjusting change of the damping factor for change of the load.
