To prevent a mooring rope from being cut by providing an elastic body which torsion-deforms pulling force for buffer and a link mechanism which converts pulling force into torsion force for the elastic body.
A damper device D for mooring consists of hold plates 11, 12 which hold one end of a plurality of elastic bodies 2 like circular column by a plurality of hold sides 11a, 12a and a link mechanism 3 which holds the other end of the elastic body 2 by one end of link members 32, 33. Next, the device D is arranged at a quay, one shaft 31 of the link 3 is connected with a mooring post by using a chain, and the other shaft 31 thereof is connected with a mooring rope of a ship. Then, when the ship moves and pulling force of the mooring rope is increased, pulling force acts between the shafts 31, the pulling force is converted into torsion force generated by the rotation centered on the elastic body 2 of the members 32, 33, the elastic body 2 is torsion- deformed, and the distance between the shafts 31 is increased to buffer the pulling force. Furthermore, when the pulling force is decreased, the elastic body 2 returns to the original condition due to elastic force. Consequently, it is possible to set buffer force to a desired force and increase buffer capacity.
