Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper device for improving its impact absorption performance when a turning shaft is in end abutting, and to provide a steering device.SOLUTION: A damper device 50 includes: a shaft 21 having a shaft part 211 and a large diameter part 51; a housing 52 having a restriction face 52b cylindrically formed, inserted through the shaft 21 so as to be relatively movable in the axial direction, and opposed to the end face of the large diameter part 51 in the axial direction; and an impact absorption member 53 inserted through the shaft part 211, and mounted between the end face of the large diameter part 51 and the restriction face 52b in the axial direction. The impact absorption member 53 includes an impact receiving member 53a having an annular part 532 capable of coming into contact with the end face of the large diameter part 51, and a plurality of rubber elastic bodies 53b arranged between a face 532a of the annular part 532 on the side of the restriction face 52b and the restriction face 52b at spaces from each other in the circumferential direction of the shaft part 211, and fixed to the face 532a of the annular part 532 on the side of the restriction face 52b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
