Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent an unstable characteristic of hysteresis torque arising from deformation of side plates in large and medium sized clutch discs used in an automoblie or the like, by arranging subplates in the surface of an opposite side to a hub flange of the side plate. CONSTITUTION:Subplates 16 are arranged in the outside of side plates 5, 6. The both plates 5, 6, providing their narrowed gap, can hold a part of springs 20, 21 toward their center to obtain a stable characteristic of disc torsion. Surfaces of the side plates 5, 6 at the side of a hub flange 3 are supported by subpins 13 at three places, and all internall peripheral part other than the above are supported by the flange 3 through the first friction material 15, thus the plates 5, 6 are not deformed by pressing force from the second friction material 17.
