Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain an excellent damper characteristic through the use of a single spring, by elastically coupling a driving plate and a driven plate to each other through the nonlinear spring. CONSTITUTION:A helical spring 157 unequal in winding pitch is provided between the driving plate 158B and front driving plate 158C of a damper so that these driving plates are elastically connected to each other by the spring. The driven plate 158A of the damper is provided between the driving plates 158B, 158C. A friction engagement member 400, which is frictionally engaged with a front cover 111, is provided at the peripheral portion of the driving plate 158B. As a result, the effect of use of several kinds of springs can be produced by the single spring 157.
