Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of a shock while achieving the low rigidity of a damper device.SOLUTION: A damper device has an elastic mechanism 31 which is arranged between a lockup piston 26 and a turbine runner 22, and reduces a torsion angle between the lockup piston 26 and the turbine runner 22, and an attenuation mechanism 40 which is arranged between the lockup piston 26 and the turbine runner 22, and reduces a rotational speed difference between the lockup piston 26 and the turbine runner 22. In a region A1 in which the torsion angle goes below a first threshold, the elastic mechanism 31 reduces the torsion angle by a first elastic force Sa1, and on the other hand, in a region A2 in which the torsion angle exceeds the first threshold, reduces the torsion angle by a second elastic force Sa2 which is larger than the first elastic force Sa1. In a region B1 in which the torsion angle goes below a second threshold which is smaller than the first threshold, the attenuation mechanism 40 reduces the rotational speed difference by a first attenuation force Da1, and on the other hand, in a region B2 in which the torsion angle exceeds the second threshold, reduces the rotational speed difference by a second attenuation force Da2 which is larger than the first attenuation force Da1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
