Abstract:
To provide a damper mechanism for seismic isolation with which a seismic isolation damper can be placed without requiring a long horizontal space.SOLUTION: A damper mechanism for seismic isolation 4 absorbs vibration energy of an upper structure 6 on a lower structure 2 with a seismic isolation damper 8 that has a first member 801 and a second member 802. The damper mechanism for seismic isolation 4 includes a damper support part 12 that arranges the second member 802 above the first member 801 so as to retract with respect to the first member 801, a link support part 14 protruding upward from a portion of the lower structure 2, an upper frame 16 projecting downward from the bottom of the upper structure 6, and a link 10 that is oscillatably supported by the link support part 14, is connected to the second member 802 and the upper frame 16, and swings by displacing the upper structure 6 in the horizontal direction with respect to the lower structure 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
