Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper mechanism having two stage torsional characteristics, which can effectively damp torsional vibration effecting between second stages on the positive and negative sides.
SOLUTION: An input rotary member 2 and an output rotary member 3 are circumferentially resiliently coupled with each other through a first damper mechanism 4 and a second damper mechanism 5 which are arranged in parallel. The first damper mechanism 4 includes a first spring 8 which is arranged so as to transmit a torque between the input rotary member 2 and the output rotary member 3. The first spring 8 is prevented from stating compression up to a first twist angle θ1. The second damper mechanism 5 includes a second spring 13 and a high hysteresis torque generating mechanism 15 which are arranged in series. The second spring 13 can be compressed within a second twist angle range which is smaller than the first twist angle.
