To provide a damper with a limiter, as part of a power transmission mechanism for a hybrid vehicle, capable of moderating and absorbing a great impact torque while filling lubricating oil therein to eliminate the dispersion of limiter torque.
In the damper with the limiter, a damper device 1 with an outer case filled with lubricating oil and including a plurality of damper springs 5 is provided. Friction materials 11, 11 are provided on a disk outer peripheral part of the damper device 1, and the disk outer peripheral part is held between the outer case 4 and itself with a limiter plate 2 thrust by a disk spring 3. The damper device 1 has a center disk 8 held between an A-plate 6 and a B-plate 7 so that the center disk 8 is slide-contactable with the A- and B-plates only on their inner periphery sides. A friction member 32 is laid between an intermediate member 9 where the damper springs 5 are arranged in series and the A-plate 6. Spring force is energized on the friction member 32 to suppress the relative rotation of the intermediate member 9 and the A-plate at a certain angle or greater with sliding friction.
