PURPOSE: To change a watering roller over between a position suitable for dampening and a position suitable for supplying a cleaning fluid by a method wherein the watering roller and an intermediate roller are respectively supported by each one holding lever and the respective holding levers are pivotally supported to a control lever.

CONSTITUTION: Holding levers 8 and 26 mounted to a control lever 11 by means of guide means 14-16 are guided between a first position and a second position. At this first position, a watering roller supported by a holding lever 8 comes into contact with a form cylinder 4 and an intermediate roller 2 mounted onto the holding lever 8 comes into contact with the watering roller 1 and a feed roller. Further, at the second position, the watering roller 1 is immersed in a pan 18 having a cleaning liquid therein and the intermediate roller 2 comes into contact with an inking roller 5.
