Abstract:
To obtain a damping device capable of improving operation performance of a bearing device by efficiently reducing axial vibration in the bearing device.
A housing 9 for supporting an outer ring 7b of a rolling bearing 7 is arranged with a load giving means 23 so as to contact a side surface of the outer ring 7b of the rolling bearing 7 supporting a rotation shaft 3. The load giving means 23 carries out damping of the rolling bearing 7 by applying pre-load as axial vibration load.
