PURPOSE: To prevent the flowage and leaching of a setting substance by adding an organic peroxide to a photo-setting substance applied to the edge part of a diaphragm and by applying a setting accelerator, which accelerates the decomposition of the peroxide, to the edge part when setting the substance by optical irradiation.
CONSTITUTION: A photo-setting substance is applied to the edge part 3 of the diaphragm 2 of a speaker and this substance is set by being irradiated with light to form a damping material 11 for the speaker between the diaphragm and a gasket 4 fitted to a frame 1. To this setting substance, an organic peroxide is added and to the edge part 3, a setting accelerator accelerating the decomposition of the organic peroxide is previously applied. This accelerator is a compound solution of iron salt and straight chain polyamine combined in (1:5)∼(1:400) molar ratio; the general formula of the polyamine is shown in the figure. Thus, the flowage and leaching of the setting substance to the internal surface and external surface are prevented.
