Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a damping metal pipe of a sealed double tube structure having excellent heat resistance and damping properties.
CONSTITUTION: A damping metal pipe is formed by laminating a plurality of metal tubes, wherein at least one of laminated surfaces of an inner layer and an outer layer is roughed to 5-10μmRz of surface roughness. Since at least one of the laminated surfaces of the inner and outer layers is roughed to 5-10μmRz, a frictional resistance of contact surfaces of an inner tube 2 and an outer tube 1 is increased, and hence its frictional energy is increased. Accordingly, larger damping effect can be obtained.
