PURPOSE: To enable installation of frame-incorporated damping devices while maintaining degrees of freedom in design such as the layout of dwelling units or offices constituting a building having a void space, such as an apartment or an office.
CONSTITUTION: In a building 1 consisting of a building main body 2 and a void space 3 which is a space surrounded by the building main body 2 and extending vertically, a multistory parking facility 5 having a frame 6 formed by a plurality of posts 6a and a plurality of beams 6b is erected within the void space 3. The building main body 2 is connected to the frame 6 of the multistory parking facility 5 via connecting members 10. A plurality of frame- incorporated damping devices 20 are stacked one on another and installed in the multistory parking facility 5.
