Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping water supply device capable of selectively and uniformly supplying damping water to a plurality of image regions in the printing plate held by a plate cylinder of a printer. SOLUTION: A contact pressure adjusting mechanism 257 of a damping water supply device has function for keeping the contact pressure of a form- damping roller 244 and an intermediate roller 245 constant at the time of movement of the form-damping roller 244 by a form-damping roller moving mechanism and is constituted so as to keep the distance between the axis of the form-damping roller 244 and that of the intermediate roller 245 constant by the first contact member 278 having a circular shape coaxially formed with respect to the form-damping roller 244 and the second contact member 279 having a circular arc surface coaxial to the intermediate roller 245.
