An elastic material is mounted on at least a part of the sole of a dance shoe between an inside upper surface of the dance shoe kept into contact with a sole of a foot of a person, and an outsole face of the dance shoe, in the dance shoes. Further a layer of a material such as deerskin, back skin, felt or the like, is disposed on the outsole part of the dance shoe. Whereby the contact of a partial side part of an edge part and a ball part of a heel, with the ground and floor, can be prevented, while absorbing the impact by the elastic material, the rapid braking to the movement of the body weight, can be reduced, and the floor can be prevented from scratched.
