To provide a new dark yellow ink obtained by using a dark yellow ink containing fine resin particles that has been conspicuously improved in resistance against color fading cause by oxidative gas, decreased in image degradation caused by irregularity in dot distribution and disarray in dot shape, and improved image gloss, an ink set, inkjet recording method and recorded matter using the ink.

This dark yellow ink is used for an inkjet recording method together with a yellow ink, and comprises a dye, water, a water-soluble organic solvent and fine resin particles. The ink luminosity is lower than that of the yellow ink. It comprises, as yellow dyes, a first dye represented by general formula (I) or (II), and at least one type of a second dye selected from the group consisting of a magenta dye, cyan dye and black dye.
