Abstract:
To provide a method for identifying the kind of protein contained in each of cells with a diameter size of 10 to several μm, a pretreatment device for detecting protein contained in a specific cell and a data acquisition device.
A liquid droplet containing digestive enzyme is applied to the specific cell using an ink jet method and the mass of peptide subjected to limited decomposition is analyzed by a mass analyzing method such as a flight time type secondary ion mass analyzing method or the like. Various data bases are utilized to specify protein before limited decomposition from the peptide.
