Abstract:

To analyze an effect of occurrence of a certain event on occurrence of other event.

This data analysis device 10 manages a history of observation information indicating whether an event occurs or not in an observation information database 152. The data analysis device 10 retrieves a time point when a specified event occurs from the observation information database 152, reads the history of the observation information on the other event in a predetermined period by reference to that time point, and generates pattern candidates of the observation information possibly included in the read history. The data analysis device 10 counts the number of times of appearance of the pattern candidates included in the history of the observation information on the other event on each of the generated pattern candidates, and outputs a pattern and the number of times of appearance.
