Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the data base system where only required updated data is efficiently referred to between a data base device and a terminal equipment.
CONSTITUTION: A data base system 1 is provided with a data base device 2 which preserves data, and plural terminal equipments 4...4 which are connected to the device 2 through a network 3 and refer to data. The data base device 2 has an index file M1, where the data write time and data are stored, and a response buffer where selected data and the file read time set as time data for next request are temporarily preserved. Meanwhile, each of terminal equipments 4...4 has an index file MD, where data is stored, and a time buffer where key information including indicated time data is temporarily preserved.
