Abstract:

To provide a data carrier with which not only the respective stages of physical distribution but also waste after use or recycle of an article are cared while effectively utilizing the merit of the data carrier such as wireless tag to a maximum and to provide an article life cycle management method using the same.

Concerning this article life cycle management method, the data carrier capable of writing/reading data is attached to an article GD, data required for managing the article on respective plural stages to the production, logistics, selling, using, waste and recycle of this article GD are stored in the data carrier and read out of that data carrier so that the life cycle management of the article is performed.
