In a data center, panels 21 are arranged on end sides in a horizontal direction of rack rows 15 whose back surfaces are opposed to each other at intervals, partitions 23 extending to a ceiling 20 are formed at front edge upper parts of both rack rows 15, a hot zone 24 is defined in an air-conditioning chamber 13, an exhaust port 26 is formed at the ceiling 20 in the hot zone 24, an outlet 27 is formed at the ceiling 20 in front of both rack rows 15 and outside the hot zone 24, and air-conditioned air blown from the outlet 27 is introduced from a front surface through a back surface of the rack row 15 into the hot zone 24. The data center includes an exhaust duct 31 for introducing air collected from the exhaust port 26 into an air-conditioning machine, and multiple hot zones 24 are defined with respect to one exhaust duct 31.
