This data collection device for the measuring device comprises a portable computer 10 for setting information on a plurality of measuring positions, and recording the measured data from a magnetometric sensor 11 correlatively with each measuring position. A controller 12 comprises a moving switch 23 for selecting a measuring position for measurement from among the plurality of measuring positions by a user, an X-axis direction position display part 21 and a Y-axis direction position display part 22 for displaying the coordinate of the measuring position selected by the moving switch 23, a data fetching switch 24 for receiving support by the user and instructing a record of the measured data from the magnetometric sensor 11 to the portable computer 10, and a communication cable 13 for communicating with the portable computer 10.
