PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect time series data with high time accuracy at low costs in the case of collecting various data to be output from a manufacturing device of an old type.SOLUTION: A data collection device 1 includes: a connection terminal 12 of an RS232C specification; and a clock 13. The data collection device is configured to, when receiving data, obtain a reception time from the clock 13, and to allow a storage medium 16 to store the data and the reception time in association.
