Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication method and a system by which a large quantity of information can be transmitted, the installment number of roadside equipment is not limited, there is no zone disabled in communication due to the limitation of communication coverage and a significant timelag is not caused until reaching the next communication zone.
SOLUTION: When mobile equipment 20 exists within a DSRC zone, the mobile equipment 20 is called through a network control unit 25 and a zone controller 23a. Besides, when mobile equipment exists out of the DSRC zone, the mobile equipment 20 is called through a portable telephone network 29. In the mobile equipment 20, a radio communication interface is switched by calling thereof, a unit packet M is received and held, and at the time when required unit packets are completely collected, packet assembly is performed.
