Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize transmission reception of multi-channel video data or the like in real time at a high transmission rate independently of the performance of a CPU.
SOLUTION: The data communication processing unit is provided with transmission reception information tables 1341, 1342 that cross-reference information designating a transmission reception destination included in a plurality of protocol layers stipulated in a communication protocol with an FIFO number, that is, each input output video data stream identification number. A protocol processing section 134 references the tables to generate protocol information corresponding to data in the case of transmitting the data, a data transfer section 133 transfers the data from a corresponding FIFO 131 and assembles a transmission packet. In the case of receiving data, the protocol processing section 134 checks protocol information of a received packet with the tables to obtain an output destination FIFO number and the data transfer section 133 transfers the data received in the received packet to a corresponding FIFO 132.
