Abstract:
PURPOSE: To unnecessitate a buffer with large capacity and to improve time delay required for encoding and restoring by alternately transmitting data with the different weight of respective bits while diving them into high-order bits and loworder bits, for example, and compressing them concerning the data compressing and restoring system for compressing a data amount while excluding a redundant part in data.
CONSTITUTION: (1) The plural bits constituting respective characters to be inputted are divided into plural groups, the order of encoding among the plural groups is decided, encoding is performed for over one characters in the data of the group which encoding order is the first, (2) the data of the group after the second encoding order are encoded, (3) according to the order of encoding up to a position corresponding to the encoded characters in the first group and after the data of the final group is first encoded, processing after encoding for over one character in the data of the first group is repeated.
