Abstract:

PURPOSE: To execute data conversion relating to plural kinds of characteristics by effectively utilizing a memory in each of plural look-up tables(LUTs) in a data converter for executing data conversion by interpolating operation using plural LUTs.

CONSTITUTION: Since address converters 311 to 316 and data converters 341 to 347 are connected before and after respective LUTs 321 to 324 having the same capacity, addresses accessed by the LUTs 321 to 324 are always included within a fixed area in accordance with the value of a switching control signal EX. Thereby grading point data of other kinds can be stored in other areas not to be accessed by each of the LUTs 321 to 324 and data conversion of other kinds can be executed by switching the value of the control signal EX.
