Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect lines with different transmission speeds by converting the data transmission speed and to reduce a prolonged transmission time caused by conversion of data transmission speed.
SOLUTION: In the data converter where a 1st line 1 with a higher data transmission speed and a 2nd line 2 with a smaller data transmission speed are connected, the transmission speed of data received from the 1st line 1 is converted and the data are sent to the 2nd line 2, when a reception means R receives data from the 1st line 1, a storage means M stores the received data. In the case of the storage, a comparison update means C compares currently received data with preceding data having been received by the reception means R and having already been stored in the storage means M and updates the duplicated parts of the old data with the current data when both the data are duplicated in some parts. The data stored in the storage means M are sent to the 2nd line 2 by a transmission means S.
