Abstract:
PURPOSE: To offer the data converter which can shorten the time required for a converting process.
CONSTITUTION: Outline data corresponding to character data is read out of a character ROM (S100) and it is judged (S110) whether a font size indicated from an input device is larger than a reference value or not. When the font size is larger than the reference value (S110: YES), short vector data is generated (S130) after a developing processing (S120). When the font size is less than the reference value, the developing processing is omitted and the short vector data is generated (S130). The generated short vector data is used to generate bit map data (S140).
