Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a data transmission amount near a specific time granularity to or less than a fixed value when time-series data is displayed with a multistep time granularity.SOLUTION: Time-series data corresponding to a specific time granularity is stored in a database table. When a time scale in displaying the time-series data in a display upon the operation of a user is changed, a time granularity in which the average number of data obtained by multiplying a value obtained by dividing a time width to be displayed in the display by total time width in which the time-series data exists by the total number of data displayable in the changed time scale is the maximum is selected among a plurality of time granularities in which the time-series data is displayable in the changed time scale. The maximum average number of data and a predetermined threshold value are compared with each other. When the maximum average number of data is larger than the threshold value, the time granularity is changed and data is read from a database table corresponding to the changed time granularity to draw a graph.
