Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a person receiving data, when distributing data such as image data, and to surely certify a received data range.
SOLUTION: In this data distribution method, when data 120 such as image data or audio data are distributed via a public line network 111, specific information is imbedded over a prescribed range of the data 120, while the imbedded position is changed with a recipient receiving the distributed data. The recipient side uses an information read means 114, that is informed of the imbedded position, to read the specific information and encrypts the read information with the information which specifies the recipient and provides an output of the result.
