PURPOSE: To increase the sensitivity and the range of a system for exchanging a data between a fixed station or a reader and a moving station or a badge using microwave.
CONSTITUTION: An FET 11 is used for both modulation and demodulation by switching the gate bias Vgs and the drain bias Vds, respectively, at input terminals 15, 20. Microstrip lines 12, 16 are impedance matching loads coupling between the FET 11 and an input 13. A microstrip line 21 to be connected with the source constitutes a feedback loop for the FET 11 and provides an oscillatory state. Two lines 14 on the gate and two lines 19 on the drain entirely have a quarter wavelength and decouple the bias voltage. An input is demodulated through the FET 11 and transmitted through a terminal 18 to an information processing section in case of receiving whereas a modulation input is inputted from the terminal 20 in case of transmission.
