A light guide 5 has a stroboscopic light incident surface 35 which is formed, in such a manner that the stroboscopic light, leaking out in the camera is made nearly perpendicular, is made to be incident thereon and a tapered surface 39, which is inclined at nearly 45° with the stroboscopic light incident surface. The light guide is also provided with first to third external light incident surfaces 36, 37 and 38, to which the light from outside the camera is collected. The third external light incident surfaces 38 is forms as a rough surface, subjected to embossing to prevent the mirror finished surface reflection of the external light incoming from the front of a liquid crystal plate 25, thereby improving the lighting efficiency of the external light.
