PURPOSE: To change the relation between an input operation and the return value of an input program just with the change of an input operation setting table and with no correction of the input program by setting the return value of the input program in comparison with the signal received from a pointing device and with use of the input operation setting table.

CONSTITUTION: An input operation table 4 contains the return value corresponding to the signal received from a pointing device 1 and is contained in a memory of an input circuit 2. A return value setting means 2b refers to the table 4 to set the return value. Thus the relation between an input operation and the return value of an input program can be changed just with change of a table where an input operation is set and with no correction of the input program.
