Abstract:

PURPOSE: To display graphic and text data with appropriate response time by requesting text display data from a host computer system, retrieving relating graphic data corresponding to the text display data and receiving input data corresponding to the text display data.

CONSTITUTION: Component information text data 26 are stored on line with a component information processor 24. That is, the component information processor 24 acts as the host computer system for many local computer systems arranged at unit installation places where components are ordered. Then, a user logs on through the local computer 22 toward the host computer system 24. Further, when a specified unit is selected, a menu is displayed at a component information display part 42. Thus, the graphic and text data are displayed with the appropriate response time.
