PURPOSE: To surely and easily manage data by changing the attributes of the data to active/inactive and thereby changing the data in the management of the data provided in respective computers.
CONSTITUTION: The computers 1 and 4 define the data to be stored in data storage devices 1A and 4A provided in the respective computers by data difinition parts 1B and 4B and data attribute definition parts 1C and 4C. Also the data definition parts 1B and 4B perform intrinsic data difinition corresponding to the kinds of the computers 1 and 4 and define data formats to be stored in the data storage devices 1A and 4A, etc. Then, activity/inactivity is added to the data as the attributes and the data are added or deleted by supplying attribute change information to the respective computers. Thus, by changing the data by changing the attributes, data change depending on the kind is unnecessitated by changing the data to active/inactive by the communication of the attribute change information even when the respective computers are the different kinds.
