Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data modulation method and apparatus, a data demodulation method and apparatus, and a code arranging method.
SOLUTION: The invention includes a multiplexer which multiplexes an input data stream divided for a fixed length on a plurality of kinds of data streams by utilizing multiplexing information of predetermined bits but generates a plurality of kinds of pseudo random data streams by utilizing a predetermined multiplexing method for the plurality of kinds of multiplexed data streams, and an encoder for providing a modulated code stream of a minimum DC component by applying RLL modulation to the plurality of kinds of pseudo random data streams. Then, a pseudo scramble multiplexing method is adopted to generate the pseudo random data stream by utilizing a system of discontinuous scrambling in the multiplexer, weak DC-free RLL modulation which does not use a DC control conversion list added with separate bits is applied to the plurality of kinds of multiplexed data streams in the encoder, and a code stream of a minimum DC component in the multiplexed and RLL modulated code streams is provided.
