Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a data output device with which a user (reader) can easily read (look and listen) the newspaper data allotted electronically in his own preferable order.

CONSTITUTION: The newspaper data recorded on a data recording medium 7 are read out in each genre of news and then shown at a display part 14 by a display/reproduction management part 9. Meanwhile a display order is designated by the operations of an input pen 3a and a mouse 3b when the newspaper data are shown at the part 14 in each genre of news. The designated display order is recorded on the medium 7 by a personal display condition writing part 6. At a user information/display condition management part 10, the part 9 is controlled so that the newspaper data are read out in each genre of news based on the recorded display order.
