When the data processing apparatus is wirelessly connected to an image forming apparatus, whether print setting is set to image data to be transferred is determined (S405). When it is determined that the print setting is set, transfer of the image data to the image forming apparatus is immediately started (S407). On the other hand, when the print setting is not performed, transfer of the image data is started after receiving an image transfer request from the image forming apparatus (S406).
