Abstract:
To provide, according to the present invention, a data processing device capable of reducing an area of a part of document data not output to a recording medium in comparison with a device that has no change means for changing the size of an outputtable region.SOLUTION: A data processing device 100 includes a printer driver 160 that converts created document data into output data applied for an output device 700. When the output device 700 is to output to a recording medium larger than the size of the document data, the size of a predetermined outputtable region is changes in such a way that the document data is to be within the outputtable region that can be output by the output device 700.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
