Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing method capable of performing HV conversion by using one buffer, data processing apparatus and a recording apparatus using said apparatus.
SOLUTION: A data buffer wherein length is N×M(=H) words and width is (N) lines is used and, at first, image data of H-words/line is written by the quantity of (N) lines. Next, the image data corresponding to (M) words is read in an (N) pixel length direction in the width direction of the buffer and (M) words XN, that is, the data corresponding to one line is written in the read region. This is performed in relation to all of the regions of the data buffer (A mode). Next, data is read at every one pixel at an (M) words interval in the length direction of the buffer and, when the data corresponding to one line is read, the data corresponding to one line is written in said region in the length direction of the buffer (B mode). On and after, data input and output operations are executed while modes A, B are changed over.
