Abstract:

To provide a data processing system for public racing which electronically complete all the operation from betting to refund by adopting electronic money settlement.

This data processing system for public racing, which is connected to a customer terminal and a bank system via a network, comprises an account registration means to receive customer terminal individual information and refund account information from the customer terminal, to check the account by communication with the bank system, and to registers an account for transfer, a betting acceptance means to receive betting information and the electronic money from the customer terminal, and to transmit an electronic betting ticket to the customer terminal, an inquiry response means to receive a hit inquiry from the customer terminal and to transmit hit information to the customer information, and a refund means to receive a refund request from the customer terminal, to check the account registration, and to transfer to the corresponding account by communication with the bank system.
