PURPOSE: To recognize visually relation among multi-media by editing a stream comprising a data symbol and a connection symbol to relate the multi-media.

CONSTITUTION: Multi-media data are displayed onto a display device 2 in the data processor relating multi-media and a stream comprising a data symbol such as a node 21 and a connection symbol such as an interconnection arrow 22 connecting data symbols is displayed on the display device 2. Furthermore, the computer main body edits the stream displayed on the display device 2 and relates multi-media data with each other as an edit means. Then a stream comprising nodes 21 representing multi-media data and an interconnection arrow 22 interconnecting the nodes 21 is displayed and the displayed stream is edited to relate the multi-media data to each other.
