Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the availability of a terminal by securing the switch of a main console mode to a work station mode in addition to a manual console mode and an operating system OS console mode.
CONSTITUTION: A control means 3 performs the switch control of a main console 2 among three types of modes, that is, a manual console mode used for the maintenance or the manual operation of a data processor, an (OS) console mode used for application of a control command of the data processor, and a work station mode used for the business work respectively. As a result, the console 2 can be used as a work station and therefore a terminal can be effectively used.
