To provide a data provision system which enables a user to form a data cassette recorded with only the data necessary for the user and to obtain always the latest data by downloading the data that the user desires to acquire from a data provision server into a terminal device and writing the downloaded data into the cassette by utilizing a writing device.

The system is constituted by connecting the terminal device 5 through the Internet 4 to the data provision server 1 and downloading the specific data from the data provision server 1 into the terminal device 5, in which the data downloaded into the terminal device 5 are written to a memory medium 8 by a writing means 6 for writing the data connected to the terminal device 5 and the memory medium 8 is loaded to another processor 7, such as a karaoke device, to permit the use of the data written to the memory medium 8 in the processor 7.
