Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording apparatus having a time generator for generating the current time in correct synchronization with absolute time by use of a GPS receiver, while guaranteeing the interval between minutes even at the time when an internal counter is reset, and synchronizing sensor data with the absolute time by use of the time generator with a very high accuracy of intervals between minutes so as to make measurements of high accuracy.
SOLUTION: The data recording apparatus includes a clock generator. The clock generator includes a GPS receiver, a pulse generating means, a counter, a computing means, and a counter resetting signal generating means. The accuracy of the absolute time is such that synchronization is achieved within a period of 10 μsec to 1 msec even at the time when the counter is rest. The current time is corrected to be within a predetermined range of accuracies even at the time of the resetting. Also, a sensor signal is obtained for recording, along with the current time synchronized with the absolute time.
