Abstract:

To provide a data recording device which can prevent occurrence of a data error in a memory card.

A data recording device comprises: a recording control part (150) for controlling data recording to a memory card (30) composed of a flash memory; an internal memory (130) for recording information related to the memory card (30); and a control section (160) for controlling the recording control part (150) and the internal memory (130). The control section (160) records writing frequency information of the memory card (30) to the internal memory (130). The control section (160) adds the writing frequency information stored in the internal memory (130) every time the data is recorded in the memory card (30). If the writing frequency information exceeds a predetermined upper limit, the control section (160) inhibits data writing to the memory card (30).
