To provide a data recording device capable of preventing data amount from increasing even when data recording is performed for a long time and can record detailed data about an event occurring during a measuring period.
The data recording device comprises a controller that performs high-speed sampling of input signals, stores the latest data of the input signals in a memory having a region for storing it corresponding to a certain period in the time lapse order, and updates the data, a control means that reads data of sampled input signals at a predetermined interval, stores it as current data in the memory, and holds the data stored in the region of the memory as the event data based on a previously set trigger condition, a first display region for displaying the whole waveform of the input signals, based on the current data, and a second display region for displaying a part of the waveform of the input signals, based on the event data.
