A data relay system includes: a Master 10; REP 20, 30 connected in time division multiple access to the Master 10, for relaying data originated from the Master 10 side and forwarded to the Master 10 side, using single frequency (frequency F1) signals; and Slaves 21, 22, 31-33 connected in time division multiple access to the REP 20, 30. Each REP 20, 30 works as a Master of the Slaves 21, 22, 31-33 connected in time division multiple access to the self-REP.
